Are Your Foundation J Bolts Code-Compliant?

A lot of people forget this step, but it’s vital: always check if your bolts meet ASTM or ISO standards.

If you’re using foundation J bolts for high-rise construction or anchor bolts for industrial equipment, local regulations often specify grade, thread type, and even coating requirements. Getting non-compliant bolts might pass during the build but could lead to fines—or worse—unsafe structures later.

Ask your supplier for certification papers, especially when sourcing high-strength foundation J bolts or hot-dip galvanized anchor bolts.
